Broccoli, Cauliflower & Tuna Casserole

This rich and creamy dish can stand alone for your dinner entree, or leave out the animal protein and serve it as a satisfying side!

  • 30 minutes
  • Serves 4
  • Medium

Directions

This is a great dish to throw together when you want a one-dish dinner solution.  If you are a vegetarian, you can easily leave out the animal protein and still have a great dish.   Also, you could easily put this together the night before & then pop it in the oven 45 minute or so before dinner.

Steps

1
Done

Preheat oven to 350*.

2
Done

In large bowl, mix together onion, broccoli, cauliflower, and tuna (or chicken or leave it out all together). Stir to combine.

3
Done

Add olive oil, salt, and pepper and mix well.

4
Done

In a smaller bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, red pepper, and celery seed. If your cream cheese isn't soft, chuck it in the microwave for 20 - 30 seconds to soften it.

5
Done

Pour cream cheese mixture over veggie blend and mix well.

6
Done

Add 1/4 cup shredded cheddar and stir to combine; pour into a 9x9 (or close) pan.

7
Done

Pour heavy cream in a cross-hatch pattern over the whole casserole. Trust me.

8
Done

Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top (if desired).

9
Done

Bake for 40 minutes. Remove & serve immediately. You can thank me later.
